The ButterWorm is the soft-bodied larval stage of the Chilean Moth (Chilecomadia moorei)
which is known to inhabit the mountains in central Chile. Collected in tebo trees and
shipped weekly to us, they are so named because the Chilean Moth lives and lays it's larva
in the Tebo Tree. Picked by hand the Butterworms(aka:Teboworms) is used extensively in
European counties for fishing and pet foods
We have our USDA Permit( Approved ) to import and ship Teboworms in the USA. We believe
that it is a good food source for the reptile industry. Easily shipped and stored, and
with excellant nutritional content.
**The Calcium content is twice that of any other feeder insect
